Street Soccer
Yesterday 16 June was Youth Day in South Africa. I spent some time in Soweto with kids playing street soccer. It was the Kia Sporting Chance Street Soccer regional finals.
Brother & Sister
Yesterday I was at a friend’s house shooting a few photographs for a project in progress. I saw his kids running into the room all excited to be with mom and dad. I quickly told them to sit down for a photo.

Last minute Portraits
I thought I would share these two images as I really like the way they turned out. My friend Doray and his wife Ricky were about to attend an event. As you can see it was a formal event and none of this was planned. So we started playing with some ideas and this is what happened.

Creative Director of Newmoney
I met up with Raleshaba to photograph some executive portraits of him. Our location was at the Gordon Institute of Business Science campus. He is currently a student there and the location seemed like the perfect place to photograph a young business man in the making.
Raleshaba is full of ideas about his new brand Newmoney. “This will become a fashion label and retail store concept in the next 24 months or so” – Raleshaba.
Lesedi African Cultural Village
I spent a morning at the Lesedi African Cultural Village some time ago. I was about to leave the venue when a busload of tourists arrived. I could not pass up this opportunity for portraits, so I grabbed my camera and fired away! The guests were greeted by the entrance with song and dance by men dressed in their traditional wear.
